Precautions for using tarpaulin

1. Installation and Securing

2. Daily Maintenance and Care

Waterproofing and Drainage: When using the tarp, maintain it at an angle to prevent water accumulation and facilitate rainwater drainage. If water accumulates, drain it manually to keep it clean and tidy.

Avoid sharp objects: During use, avoid direct contact between the tarp and sharp objects to prevent scratches. If scratches occur, repair them promptly to avoid further damage.

Regular Cleaning and Airing: After use, tarpaulins should be cleaned and air-dried briefly, and stored in a dry, well-ventilated area to prevent chemical residue and decay. Tarpaulins that have been unused for a long time should be aired out periodically to prevent bacterial growth, which can affect their lifespan.

Fire Prevention: Tarpaulins are generally not fireproof. Keep them away from sources of fire when in use, and especially take precautions when storing them.

Chemical Contact: Avoid direct contact between tarpaulins and chemicals to prevent damage and the release of harmful substances.

Handling and Storage: When handling tarpaulins, handle them with care and avoid applying excessive force, which may damage them. Store them in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.
